AMPI announces new division manager |
NEW ULM, Minn. (August 25, 2008)—Matt Quade has been named manager of the Dawson Division of Associated Milk Producers Inc. (AMPI). He replaces Joe Vaske who is retiring after 29 years of service to the dairy farmer-owners of the Midwest milk marketing cooperative.
Quade adds the division based in Dawson, Minn., to his current responsibilities as manager of the AMPI division in Paynesville, Minn. He will manage cooperative membership in parts of Minnesota and South Dakota, as well as the cheese and whey manufacturing plants in Dawson and Paynesville.
“Matt has a keen understanding of the milk marketing business,” said AMPI President and Chief Executive Officer Mark Furth. “His experience will serve us well in Dawson.”
A graduate of South Dakota State University’s dairy manufacturing program, Quade is the former manager of Bongards’ Creameries in Minnesota. In 1999 he joined AMPI to manage the Paynesville Division. |
