We’re the largest cheese cooperative based in the United States, owned by dairy farm families in the Upper Midwest.
From the moment milk leaves our members’ farms, our team of nearly 1,000 employees springs into action, crafting fresh milk into quality dairy products for retail, food service and food ingredient customers across the U.S. and around the world. Our AMPI team touches all facets of the food chain, from farm to the market, as we craft nearly 10% of the nation’s American-type cheese, processed cheese and butter.

2024 Summer Internships
An internship at AMPI is a learning experience like no other. You become a valued part of the AMPI team.
No matter the role or location, you will have the chance to do important work and gain professional experience in your field. You’ll also gain new insight into the dairy and food manufacturing industry as well as the many ways in which AMPI supports our dairy farmer owners and the communities in which we live and work.
